River Valley Sun Launch
When:Other Recreation Events
Woodstock Publishers Theresa Blackburn and Stephen Chisholm, with respected journalist Jim Dumville will launch a free monthly newspaper for western New Brunswick on February 14th at 11 am at the L.P. Fisher Library.
The trio thought Valentines Day was a perfect time to launch the River Valley Sun, calling it a gift for the region they love.
The ultra-local publication will be available in 42 locations from Beechwood to Nackawic, and will focus on local events, heritage, and the people who make this part of the world a wonderful place to live.
Leaving traditional news to existing media, the River Valley Sun will focus on feature articles while providing space for a variety of voices that aren’t always heard in traditional media.
It will be free in print, and online.
Join us in the LP Fisher’s Great Hall for light refreshments and a chance to get some of the first copies of the River Valley Sun.
