The Town of Woodstock Youth Council is your chance to step up, speak out, and shape the future of your community! Open to youth ages 13 to 24, the Youth Council empowers young leaders to get involved in real municipal decision-making. It’s a dynamic space where your ideas, concerns, and passions matter — and where you’ll build leadership skills, make a difference, and help create a more youth-friendly Woodstock.
Who can apply? The Youth Council is open to residents of Woodstock ages 13 to 24 who are interested in making a difference, learning leadership skills, and getting involved in local issues.
Why Join? Getting involved in the Woodstock Youth Council is a chance to make your voice heard, build leadership skills, and help shape the future of your community. As a member, you’ll work with other youth and town leaders to influence local decisions, plan events, and speak up on issues that matter — all while gaining real-world experience and earning a stipend for your valuable time and contributions.
What Does the Youth Council Do?
● Attend regular meetings
● Share insights on local youth issues
● Plan and participate in events and initiatives that foster youth leadership and civic engagement.
● Collaborate with other community organizations, youth groups, and stakeholders
● Participate in the development of strategic initiatives that promote youth development, employment, and engagement.
How to Apply:
Ready to get involved? Just download and fill out the Youth Council Application Form, then drop it off at the Town Office (267 Connell Street, Unit 1, Woodstock, NB) or email it to youthcoordinator@woodstocknb.ca. Don’t wait — applications are due by July 31st!

- Interested in joining? This is the form you need to fill out! It asks for your contact information, a short personal statement, and your interests. Once completed, submit it to the Town Office or email it in by the deadline to be considered.
