PROPOSED BY-LAW
By-Law No. R-305, Building By-Law
The proposed by-law replaces the existing Building By-Law No. R-302, originally adopted in 2008 and subsequently amended, in order to align the Town’s recent change in planning and development services now being carried out by the Western NB Service Commission. The proposed by-law improves clarity, consistency, and administrative efficiency, while continuing to support public safety and responsible development within the Town of Woodstock.
Any person wishing to inspect the proposed by-law may do so by appointment at Woodstock Town Hall, 244 Connell Street, NB during regular office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday except holidays.
The deadline for submitting written objections/support to the Town Clerk shall be 12:00 p.m. on the date of the next reading, Tuesday, March 24th, 2026. Written objections/support may by mailed or delivered to Town Hall or e-mailed to the Clerk clerk@woodstocknb.ca.

By-Law 601.01, A Code of Conduct By-Law
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Town of Woodstock, under authority vested in it by the Local Governance Act, S.N.B. 2017, c.18, amendments thereto and regulations thereunder, intends to consider proposed By-Law 601.01, A Code of Conduct By-Law for the Council of the Town of Woodstock.
The proposed by-law replaces the existing Code of Conduct for the Council of the Town of Woodstock By-Law, originally adopted in December 2022. The By-Law has been updated to align with current standards and to ensure full compliance with the Local Governance Act, consistent with the requirements of the Local Governance Commission.
Any person wishing to inspect the proposed By-Law may do so at Woodstock Town Hall, 244 Connell Street, NB during regular office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday except holidays.
