PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Town of Woodstock intends to consider proposed By-laws to amend By-law Z-501, the Town of Woodstock Zoning By-law.
The proposed By-law is intended to rezone the property known as PID No. 10108256, located at 733 Main Street, from R1 (One and Two-Unit Residential) to R2 (Low Rise Residential) with conditional use. The purpose of the amendments is to permit the conversion of the existing building, formerly used as a law office, into a six-room boarding/rooming house.
Any person wishing to inspect the proposed By-law may do so at Woodstock Town Hall, 244 Connell Street, NB during regular office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday except holidays.
A public hearing to consider written objections to the proposed changes will be held during the Council Meeting on December 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the AYR Motor Centre in Sam's Room. Written objections will be accepted until 11:00 AM on the day of the hearing, and shall be addressed to the Town Clerk, 244 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB, E7M 1M2 or by e-mail to clerk@woodstocknb.ca.
Any person who wishes to speak for or against the written objections is entitled to be heard and may contact clerk@woodstocknb.ca for instructions on how to participate in the public hearing.

BY-LAW UNDER REVIEW
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Town of Woodstock under authority vested in it by the Local Governance Act, SNB 2017, c. 18 section 49 intends to consider By-Law No. 602.01, A By-Law Respecting the Remuneration of Council for the Town of Woodstock.
WHEREAS: By-Law No. 602.01, A By-Law Respecting the Remuneration of Council for the Town of Woodstock, by title was read a first time at the Regular Meeting of Council on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
WHEREAS: By-Law No. 602.01, A By-Law Respecting the Remuneration of Council for the Town of Woodstock, by title will be read a second time at the Regular Meeting of Council on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
WHEREAS: By-Law No. 602.01, A By-Law Respecting the Remuneration of Council for the Town of Woodstock, in its entirety will be read a third time at the Regular Meeting of Council on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Any person wishing to inspect the proposed By-law may do so by appointment at Woodstock Town Hall, 244 Connell Street, Woodstock NB, E7M 1M2 during regular office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday except holidays.
The deadline for submitting written objections/support to the Town Clerk shall be 12:00 p.m. on the date of the next reading. Written objections/support may be mailed or delivered to Woodstock Town Hall or e-mailed to clerk@WoodstockNB.ca
