PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Town of Woodstock intends to consider proposed By-laws to amend By-law Z-501, the Town of Woodstock Zoning By-law.
The proposed By-law is intended to rezone the property known as PID No. 10108256, located at 733 Main Street, from R1 (One and Two-Unit Residential) to R2 (Low Rise Residential) with conditional use. The purpose of the amendments is to permit the conversion of the existing building, formerly used as a law office, into a six-room boarding/rooming house.
Any person wishing to inspect the proposed By-law may do so at Woodstock Town Hall, 244 Connell Street, NB during regular office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday except holidays.
A public hearing to consider written objections to the proposed changes will be held during the Council Meeting on December 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the AYR Motor Centre in Sam's Room. Written objections will be accepted until 11:00 AM on the day of the hearing, and shall be addressed to the Town Clerk, 244 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB, E7M 1M2 or by e-mail to clerk@woodstocknb.ca.
Any person who wishes to speak for or against the written objections is entitled to be heard and may contact clerk@woodstocknb.ca for instructions on how to participate in the public hearing.

By-Law No. 608.01, A By-Law to Designate a Business Improvement Area
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Town of Woodstock intends to consider a by-law under Section 4(1) of the Business Improvement Areas Act, upon the petition of Woodstock Business Improvement Corporation Inc., to designate the area indicated as a business improvement area.
Any person wishing to inspect the proposed by-law may do so by appointment at Woodstock Town Hall, 244 Connell Street, Woodstock NB, during regular office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 AM Monday to Friday except holidays or on the Town's website.
The Council has set the Regular Meeting of the Council on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 commencing at 6:00 p.m. in Sam's Room at the AYR Motor Centre, Woodstock as the time and place for the Public Hearing (objections/support).
The deadline for submitting written objections/support to the Town Clerk shall be 11:59 p.m. on the date of the Public Hearing.
The proposed by-law was read a first and second time, by title on February 24, 2026 and will be read a third time, by title on March 10, 2026.

By-Law No. R-305, Building By-Law
The proposed by-law replaces the existing Building By-Law No. R-302, originally adopted in 2008 and subsequently amended, in order to align the Town’s recent change in planning and development services now being carried out by the Western NB Service Commission. The proposed by-law improves clarity, consistency, and administrative efficiency, while continuing to support public safety and responsible development within the Town of Woodstock.
Any person wishing to inspect the proposed by-law may do so by appointment at Woodstock Town Hall, 244 Connell Street, NB during regular office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday except holidays.
The deadline for submitting written objections/support to the Town Clerk shall be 12:00 p.m. on the date of the next reading, Tuesday, March 24th, 2026. Written objections/support may by mailed or delivered to Town Hall or e-mailed to the Clerk clerk@woodstocknb.ca.
