Water Restrictions and 72-hour Pump Test Update
Great news, Woodstock! The 72-hour pump test on our new well has been successfully completed, and we are happy to share that all municipal water restrictions are now lifted.
✅ Outdoor water use may return to normal.
✅ The splash pad will reopen for regular operation today.
A huge thank you to our Utility Department for their dedication and to our community for your cooperation and patience throughout this process.
This successful pump test is a major milestone toward commissioning our new Well #3. Pending positive test results and with everything on track, the new well is expected to be in operation by November. This will provide our water distribution system with a backup pump and greater resiliency for the future.
👉 Other Important Reminders:
Fire risk remains high into the weekend with continued dry conditions and forecasted increase in winds. Please continue to follow NBEMO and GNB on social media. The latest information and updates on all provincial level restrictions will be posted there and on the Fire Watch web page at gnb.ca/firewatch.
We thank everyone for their continued cooperation.
