LEDANIA
Diana Ordóñez aka LEDANIA is a street artist based in Bogota, Colombia. Diana was 15 when she accompanied her father to a renaissance oil painting exhibition at the Banco de la República Museum in Bogotá. LEDANIA earned a master’s degree in Visual and Plastic Arts at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. A multimedia artist who expresses her creativity through street art, photography, graphic design, advertising, artistic makeup, as well as clothing and accessories.
Ledania’s work, which conveys positivity and the impression of constant movement and freedom, has developed into a recognizable visual language. The improvised worlds she creates are magical and mystical, linked to expressionism, cubism, and surrealism. Her characters “have no race or gender; they simply exist inside a world of colour and always inhabit fantastical places”.
Her bold and colourful murals can be found in 22 countries, including Spain, Japan, Canada, and the U.S. Ledania’s art has also been featured at major international events.She was also part of a special Disney collaboration for “Encanto”, alongside three other Columbian artists.
I AM EELCO
Known for creating psychedelic landscapes using the unique coloUr palette he developed mostly on the streets of New York, Eelco van den Berg is a Dutch painter, muralist, and illustrator who lives and works alternately in Rotterdam and New York. Mesmerized by hip-hop during elementary school, which still influences him greatly, Telco ventured out, beginning his artistic career by writing graffiti. At one point, he realized that lettering wasn’t sufficient in order to tell the complete story, so he turned to figuration. Now, his mostly hand-drawn work is standing out with its strong use of colour, motifs, outlines and decorative illustrative elements in a surrealistic pop art style. Honoured to be named in 2015 as one of NYC’s top 10 street artists, EELCO is not just living the dream
but painting it as well. His bold award-winning graphic works have been commissioned by numerous major brands. He is a guest lecturer of illustration at the Willem de Kooning academie.
