safeTALK is a half day workshop, occurring during the evening, that can help you with recognizing the signs of suicide risk, communicating with the person at risk, & getting help or resources for them. Participants could include caregivers, educators, health practitioners, law enforcers, emergency workers, family and friends, student leaders - including youth aged 16 or older, and community volunteers. There is no charge for attending, but seating is limited, so folks must register in advance to attend. It will take place at NBCC Woodstock on March 18 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Come learn how to support those struggling with thoughts of self harm.
