ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)

The Woodstock Suicide Prevention Committee will be providing ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on September 26 & 27 from 8:30 to 4:30 each day. This is an evidence based Living Works program designed to provide professionals & members of the general public with knowledge about suicide, the skills to reach out, and the confidence to help save a life. The cost of the training is $70. and registration is by email to woodstockspc@gmail.com 1 in 5 struggle with emotional illness. 1 person dies by suicide every 40 seconds. Learn how to protect the folks you care about and prevent suicide loss in our communities in the Upper River Valley.
