Public Notice: Intention to consider the 2027 BIA budget

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Town of Woodstock intends to consider approving the 2027 proposed budget, in the amount of $49,611.20, submitted by the Woodstock Business Improvement Corporation Inc., for the designated Business Improvement Area, in accordance with Section 6 of the Business Improvement Areas Act. 

Pursuant to the Act, a special levy of twenty (20) cents per one hundred dollars ($100) of assessment will be imposed on non-residential properties within the area designated, under By-Law No. 608.01, as a Business Improvement Area.

Objections and/or comments to the proposed budget may be submitted in writing to the Town Clerk on or before 12:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2026, by any of the following methods:

In-person: Town Hall, 244 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB, during regular office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday except holidays

A copy of the proposed budget may be obtained from the Town Clerk. Any person may inspect the proposed by-law online on the Town’s website www.woodstocknb.ca or a copy may be obtained from the Town Clerk.
