Road Closure Notice: Old Home Week Parade

Old Home Week Parade Road Closures

The Old Home Week Parade will take place on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Parade participants will begin lining up on Deakin Drive starting at 12:00 noon.

Road Closures:

Deakin Drive (from Maxwell Street to Main Street) will be closed from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for parade staging. Drivers will be detoured via Eastwood Drive during the closure. Please drive with extreme caution, as this is a residential area. Detour signs will be posted.

The parade route—from Main Street to King Street—will be closed beginning at 2:00 p.m. and will remain closed until the parade has concluded.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes during this time.

Bring your lawn chairs, pack a water bottle, and come out to enjoy the parade!
