Curb Stop Utilities Project

Summer students are working on a project to locate and accurately record all curb stop valves at properties within Ward 4. The goal of this project is to minimize the impact of water main breaks and maintenance, allowing teams to quickly locate and shut off water supply to properties when necessary to complete required repairs.

 

You may see the utility summer students going door-to-door to inform residents about this project, and they may need to search around your yard to locate these valves. There will be minimal disruption to your yard and crews will leave the property as close as possible to how they found it.
