O'Toole Gallery

Arts, Culture & Heritage
37 Clark Street, Grafton, NBĀ

Located in Grafton, the O'Toole Gallery is the creative home of artist Kerry O’Toole. A self-taught sculptor and woodworking artisan, O’Toole is known for transforming natural materials into distinctive works of art inspired by nature, wildlife, and the landscapes of the Saint John River Valley.

O’Toole built the gallery and studio himself as a place to design, create, and showcase his work alongside pieces by other artisans. Inside, visitors can explore a wide variety of handcrafted art—from intricate wood carvings and furniture to sculptures and decorative pieces—while often seeing works in progress in the studio.

Deeply inspired by the beauty of trees and natural materials, O’Toole believes that wood carries its own story and character, which he brings to life through carving, shaping, and finishing each piece by hand. His gallery has become a creative hub in the region, offering visitors a chance to meet the artist, learn about his process, and experience the craftsmanship behind each work.

Today, the studio remains a unique stop for art lovers exploring the Woodstock area—where creativity, craftsmanship, and the natural spirit of the valley come together in every piece.
