The Woodstock Suicide Prevention Committee is offering Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) on Feb 20 & 21st from 8:30 to 4:30 in Conference Room A at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Hartland. ASIST is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. It's a LivingWorks workshop where you'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety path to keep someone who is struggling, alive and safe. Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, leaving you equipped with the skills and confidence to save lives.
